DESTINATIONS

If you start your boating adventure in Miami and you’ve booked a short half-day boating trip, your first option is to poodle around some of the more famous places in Miami like Star Island, where celebrities live. The Flagler Monument, and Hibiscus Island where Al Capone used to own a property, and generally kick back and enjoy the sunshine and the waters around Miami and Miami Beach.

Celebrities who call Miami home currently include: Alonzo Mourning, Anna Kournikova, Antoine Walker, Chayanne, Don Shula, Dwayne Wade, Gloria Estefan, Hulk Hogan, Janet Reno, Jennifer Lopez, John Secada, Julio Iglesias, Lenny Kravitz, Madonna, Matt Damon, O.J. Simpson, Pat Riley, Ricky Martin, Robin Gibb, Rosie O’Donnell, Shakira, Shaquille O’Neal, and Sylvester Stallone.

Star Island is an exclusive, man-made island in the beautiful, turquoise waters of Biscayne Bay, located in the southern part of Miami Beach, south of the Venetian Islands, and east of Palm Island and Hibiscus Island. It is only accessible by using Bridge Road, connected to the MacArthur Causeway, which takes you to the mainland. With its southern location, you are only a short drive away from the lively South Beach area with its sizzling nightlife, and to Downtown Miami to the American Airlines Arena, home of the 2012 and 2013 World Champions, The Miami Heat.

Even though there is a guard house at the entrance of Star Island, it is a public neighborhood and you will be allowed to tour this tropical paradise with the incredible sight of one sprawling, magnificent home after another. The children of Star Island are served by the public schools of South Pointe Elementary, Nautilus Middle, and Miami Beach High, in addition to the many private schools in South Florida.

Star Island is famous for the wealthy residents it attracts, past and present, many of which are celebrities, movie stars, and the elite from the business world, sports stars, artists, and entertainers. These headliners include our very own Latin music sensation Gloria Estefan, Madonna, Don Johnson, Thalia, Sean “P” Diddy Combs, Sylvester Stallone, Lenny Kravitz, Will Smith, Rosie O’Donnell, and Shaquille O’Neal.

Star Island boasts impressive, waterfront residences, with all the luxuries to complement its splendor and beauty. As part of the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserve, Star Island is a floating jewel of architectural masterpieces on a tropical island in one of the most premier locations of South Florida, and the world.

Cruise north through the intracoastal waterway making your way towards Haulevar. This scenic route will showcase the gorgeous homes and historic neighborhoods including Sunny isles, Hallandale and Hollywood Beach.

There are many famous waterside restaurants along this route to stop and have lunch. After  getting back on the cruise, we  anchor at Haulover sandbar where you can swim and take advantage of all the water toys on board, jet ski  relax or  sun bathe.

Fairly described as Burning Man on Water, the Haulover sandbar features numerous food and drink boats, hundreds of small to large boats and thousands of South Florida’s hottest partiers. All of the hottest people are there enjoying all that South Florida has to offer.

There are always many other boats anchored here, and it  is notorious for on the water party vibes. If you prefer more privacy and want to avid the crowd we can anchor at beautiful Williams island lake instead. You can also visit officially designated as Big Sandspur Island but more commonly and locally known as Beer Can Island and a part of Oleta State Park. It’s the real hub of partying and boating activities, especially on holidays and weekends. This is where most of the boaters anchor up or shore  to have barbecue, drinks,  and party, which raises  all sorts of drunken hell, which just might be the reason I love it so much.

Brickell is now one of Miami’s trendiest and most affluent downtown neighborhoods. Luxury living, dining, and entertainment is completed  with boat accessible waterfront bars and restaurants.

Once a busy port, Miami’s main waterway now runs straight through the heart of downtown. Your Miami River yacht charter takes you down the five and a half mile long historic  river  beginning at the Miami Circle, a 2000 year old, Tequesta Indian site. Continuing West, your Miami River yacht charter passes The Royal Palm Cottage. This yellow cottage was built in 1897 for Henry Flagler, a Florida railroad pioneer and developer credited with raising the city from the swampland.

Your Superyacht charter will also take you past Fisher Island, home to some of the most expensive real estate in the world! Located at the entrance to Biscayne Bay at Government Cut, Fisher Island is accessible only by ferry, boat or helicopter. Originally home to the Vanderbilt family, this exclusive community of Spanish style architecture is the home to celebrities such as Boris Becker, Oprah Winfrey, and Mel Brooks. The island has an observatory, a private marina, and hotel.

And if that’s not enough, you’ll further continue through the nearby Venetian Islands. This group of six islands includes Biscayne Island, San Marco Island, San Marino Island, Di Lido Island, Rivo Alto Island and Belle Island.  This Miami Beach charter adventure is one of our most popular and can be enjoyed by the whole family. A must see for your South Florida vacation!

This Biscayne Bay tour features world-famous Star Island, Palm Island and Hibiscus Island, as well as the six Venetian Islands.  Super exclusive, and closely guarded Star Island has only 35 homes. From your luxury yacht charter, keep an eye out for the Star Island homes of Shaquile O’Neal, Gloria Estefan, Will Smith, Madonna, P.Diddy and Rosie O’Donnell.  Just west of Star Island are the islands of Hibiscus and Palm.  A notorious Palm Island resident was the gangster, Al Capone. Hibiscus Island, located just north of Palm Island, is home to multi-million dollar estates and stunning architecture.  Many of these incredible homes have been restored to their former 1930’s condition.
